Desert Rose: The Life and Legacy of Coretta Scott King has been published by The University of Alabama Press. Joe co-wrote the book with Edythe Scott Bagley, Coretta’s sister, who began this project more than 40 years ago. Joe was honored to work with Mrs. Bagley, and loved the hours they spent talking on the phone three mornings a week for almost two years.
